Welcome to PennDOT Authorization (PDAuth) Service Help.

About This System

The PDAuth Service provides a one-stop authorization service, allowing users to log in once to access many applications. Administrative users can also perform the following actions:

·         Approve or deny access requests

·         Assign roles to users

·         Modify application settings and roles

About PDAuth Help

In TMS Help, you will find information in the following areas:

·         How Do I...? - Step-by-step procedures for tasks.

·         Show Me... - Descriptions of each screen and what the fields and controls do.  

Conventions and Notations

This help file uses several conventions that you should be familiar with.

Bold text is used for emphasis and to indicate the name of screen elements that you interact with (buttons you can click, fields you can type in, etc.) in the application.

Green italic text indicates expanding text that displays additional text or an image. Click this text for an example. Click the text again to collapse the text.

Notes appear highlighted in blue and indicate special information about the topic.

Tips appear highlighted in green and indicate hints that can save time, help you complete a task, or point you to a helpful source.

Cautions appear highlighted in red and indicate that you must be cautious or carefully consider an action.
