You can change the appearance of each layer's lines and symbols. For example, you can designate each layer with a different color to distinguish between them.
To change a layer's symbology:
1. Click the symbology image for the layer you want to modify.
Note: This image previews the current line and/or point settings for the layer. An example appears below:
The Customize Symbol pop up appears.
2. Use the controls to adjust the symbol settings.
3. Click OK to accept the changes and update
the layer.
OR
Click Cancel to close the window
without changing settings.
